Sophie’s practice of yoga
Sophie has been practicing yoga for over twenty years.
She graduated with a B.A. in physical education and learned a lot about the human physiology – how it moves and functions.
She trained with Ana Forrest, Sinhee McCoy, Young Ho-Kim, Jason Crandell, Dylan Ayaloo, Claudia Dossena, Cameron Shayne, and Matt Giordano. Recently, she got Budokon second series trained with Cameron & Melayne Shayne.
Her fascia release training with Tiffany Cruishank and Eun hyung Ki in Care Ring therapy yoga informs the hands on assists and adjustments she offers in private class in Dubai, London and Seoul.
They have all played an important part in Sophie’s journey and her current style of practice and teaching of yoga.
Sophie’s philosophy to yoga
Sophie’s philosophy is that all one needs to do yoga is to have a little courage and a lot of fun. Yoga is all about the journey. You need to enjoy the process and have passion as you go.
Sophie loves teaching yoga asanas that link and flow, and helping students discover the relationships between poses. If you focus on strong and controlled transitions – on the mindful movement between the postures, this is where you can fully experience yoga’s essence.
She can more joyful and creative Budokon movement sequences during the her yoga classes. It is awesome body instinct and feeling.
