Approach:
The best way to find your feet as a yoga teacher is to teach yoga. We emphasize practical skills and provide plenty of opportunities to practice and teach in a classroom setting. You will gain feedback, tools and confidence to teach an effective yoga class, to run a yoga workshop and to lead meditation. The results are immediate.
Your skills will expand and evolve in a highly supportive and safe environment through discussion, personal practice, coaching, hands-on interaction and practical teaching.
Gaining the knowledge and skills to teach yoga is important, but your identity as a yoga teacher and human being is ultimately what connects you with your students, changes lives, and keeps students coming back to your classes. Through introspective exercises, group processes and self inquiry, you will reveal your authentic, powerful self.
Most of us learn better with a smile on our faces. The yoga teacher training is an intensive and sometimes challenging process as we accumulate new insights, digest feedback and try out new things. And we – and you – take the training seriously. At the same time, we don’t take ourselves too seriously, and fun is an essential ingredient of the training.
